WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK AN ONLINE SESSION FOR YOUR BABY?

The success of pediatric osteopathy treatment comes from what is done in consultation with the Osteopath, but equally important are the recommendations made to parents to do at home with the baby, always being a team work. Whether to identify and treat an existing pathology, or as a prevention.

In the online session, I will guide you so that you can identify and prevent possible pathologies and dysfunctions that may harm the normal development of your baby.

I also explain what this pathologies are, how they arise, and which exercises are the most appropriate for your baby.

HOW DOES THE ONLINE SESSIONS WORK?

The online session is done through video call via Zoom.

In the online session, it is possible to screen for torticollis, and skull changes that may need attention.

I try to understand through the symptoms what could be bothering your baby.

I make recommendations and teach appropriate and personalized practical exercises for each baby.

At the end I send the recording of the session so you can review the recommendations and exercises.

INDICATIONS FOR ONLINE SESSIONS

NEWBORNS & BABIES

Sleep disturbances, inconsolable crying and irritability (which may be associated with pain or discomfort);
Colic;
Constipation;
Reflux;
Torticollis – (Common if your baby prefers a breast, or tends to have their head tilted or turned, most of the time, to the same side);
Plagiocephaly and brachycephaly (flat head syndrome) for diagnostic confirmation;
Rigid babies (babies who always want to be upright, baby with few mobility, baby with stiff joints);
